Hi

I'm confused about Past Continuous and Past Perfect Continuous.

What is the difference between the past continuous tense and the past perfect continuous tense, and could you provide situations where one is preferred over the other?

The past continuous describes an action ongoing at a specific past time, while the past perfect continuous emphasizes an action's duration before another past event occurred.
